UCLA Social Media

In 2008, as social media went from the margins to mainstream, UCLA began to establish its brand across a variety of social media channels. Led in large part by UCLA’s Communication & Public Outreach division, the University of California’s largest campus established one of the first YouTube EDU partnership accounts, was an initial entrant on both Facebook and iTunes U, and was a very early adopter on Twitter, utilizing the platform to share and spread news about the university.
